The food was good and our room in Shimla was also good, so we were happy with that part of the trip. However, when we reached Manali we faced a few problems in the room. We informed your team and were told that everything would be sorted once we went to the room.
But after we reached, things actually became worse. After we complained about some issues, the Wi-Fi stopped working and the TV also stopped working. Even after informing the staff, the room was not changed and the issues were not resolved.
What disappointed us the most was the behavior of the manager. When we raised the complaint, he spoke to us very rudely which made the situation even more uncomfortable.
Another issue was about the payment. After we complained, we were suddenly asked to make the payment on the spot. We tried to explain that our credit card was not working, we didn’t have a debit card or cash, and our UPI limit had already been crossed due to other purchases. We requested some time and told them we would send the payment the next day.
However, during checkout they did not allow us to leave until the payment was made. This was very frustrating and stressful for us, especially because it was not even our last day of the trip and we still had two more days left to complete the payment.
Eventually we somehow arranged the money and paid, only then they allowed us to check out. The pressure and the rude behavior made it a very unpleasant experience for us
Because of this overall experience, I can only give 2 stars
